Awards ceremony celebrates achievement
Awards ceremony celebrates achievement

The fifth Learners First Awards ceremony recently took place at The Botanical Gardens in Birmingham. The event celebrated achievement through Apprenticeships and rewarded those that had truly excelled in their learning programmes.

Eclipse worked with their client to develop a specific brand identity that adhered to their brand guidelines and colour palette. The overall feel was vibrant and young which perfectly complemented the audience. The brand identity was used in the invitation and ensured that the invitation attracted people’s attention. The print theme continued with branded signage and banners at the event. A winners book was produced which described the back ground to the event, an introduction to the celebrity presenter and a page dedicated to each finalists with a photograph, details of their Apprenticeship and why they were nominated.

Eclipse fully managed the staging and production of the event, designing a bespoke set that maximised the space available and picked out key brand details, the clients logo was projected onto the backdrop either side of the screen. A single lectern was placed stage left, with a central screen and trophy plinth that was up lit.

Eclipse developed the script, PowerPoint and stage managed the awards presentation. Phil Hope Minister for Skills was unable to attend the event due to work commitments but his motivating words were reiterated by the Chair of the Learning & Skills Council, Chris Banks.
